Reference

Roles and what they allow
Every role in Shokoofa: what it allows in each app, whether it needs two-step sign-in, who may assign it and which roles cannot be combined.

Getting started

Frequently asked questions
Short answers to common questions about the account center.
Getting started
The Shokoofa account center is where you manage your account, your tenants and your access across every Shokoofa app.

My account

Keeping your account secure (two-step sign-in)
Your Shokoofa account opens every Shokoofa app, so it is worth protecting well. The strongest simple step is two-step sign-in: besides your password you show something only you have.
Your profile and photo
Your profile is how colleagues see you in every Shokoofa app: your name, photo, language, time zone and a short introduction. You change it once, on the Profile page of My account, and every app shows the change.
Sessions and devices
Each time you sign in to Shokoofa in a browser or on a device, a session starts. The **Sessions and devices** page of My account lists your active sessions so you can check them and end any you do not recognise.

Tenant administration

Invitations and guests
People join a tenant by invitation. The tenant's **Invitations** page sends invitations, follows them until they are accepted, and renews guests.
Managing members and roles
Everyone in a tenant is listed on the tenant's **Members** page with the roles they hold. Open a person to change their roles, see their units and subgroups, renew a guest, or remove them from the tenant.
Administering a tenant
If you hold an administrative role in a tenant, its area appears in the menu under **Tenant**. If you belong to several tenants, choose one with the tenant switcher at the top of that area.
Tenant settings
The tenant's **Settings** page decides how the tenant works: security, sign-in, invitations, sharing and each app. Every setting comes from the Shokoofa catalog with its type, allowed values and default.
Units and subgroups
A tenant can be organised into **units** and **subgroups**. Both appear as trees on the tenant's **Units and subgroups** page.

Platform

Creating and deleting tenants
A tenant is one customer of Shokoofa. This article explains how a tenant is provisioned, suspended, given apps and deleted.
Managing user accounts
**Platform → People** lists every account in the Shokoofa identity service. Search by part of a name or an email address; results come in pages of 20.
Platform administration overview
The Platform area is where Shokoofa's own staff run the service: customer tenants, people's accounts, platform roles, extensions and support sessions. It is shown only to people who hold a platform role.
Platform roles and recertification
Platform roles are held by Shokoofa's own staff: **owner**, **operator**, **support**, **security** and **billing**. What each allows is on [Roles and what they allow](/help/roles). Platform owners manage them on **Platform → Platform roles**.
