Your profile is how colleagues see you in every Shokoofa app: your name, photo, language, time zone and a short introduction. You change it once, on the Profile page of My account, and every app shows the change.
Name and introduction
Open My account → Profile, edit your first name, last name or "About me", and choose Save changes. The introduction can be up to 1000 characters; the counter under the box shows how many you have used.
If your organisation signs you in with its own system (for example its company directory), your name comes from there. The fields are then read-only, and a note says which system manages them. Ask your organisation's system administrator to change your name there.
Language and time zone
The language decides which language Shokoofa apps and emails use for you. The time zone decides how times are shown, such as meeting times and message dates.
To choose a time zone, type part of a city or region name (for example "Tehran" or "new york") and pick it from the list. "Use this device's zone" fills in the zone of the computer or phone you are using.
Profile photo
- Choose Add photo (or Change photo) and pick an image from your device: JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF.
- Move and resize the square frame so your face sits inside the circle, then choose Apply.
- The photo is uploaded and shown right away, also in the menu at the top of the page. Other apps show it the next time they read your profile.
To remove it, choose Remove photo and confirm. Your initials are shown instead.
If the page says profile photos are not available yet, this service has not switched them on; nothing is wrong with your account.
Email address
Your email is used to sign in and for account messages, so it is changed on the Shokoofa sign-in page rather than in a form here. Choose Change email, enter the new address, and confirm it with the link sent to that address. Until then the old address stays in use.
